Favicons are the small images which appear in the tab for an open webpage at the top of a web browser page.
To make a favicon, you need a programme to convert an image to an .ico formatted image. To do this from Photoshop or other image editor, you need to download a plug-in, which is easy to find for your OS system and programme version.
Place this file in your Photoshop Plug-ins folder: ICOFormat.8bi
To load a favicon, use this code in the
?v=2 extension ensures a forced reload of the favicon for browsers which stubbornly cache the favicon.
The image should be 16 px x 16 px in size, and the best results are obtained by restricting the number of colours to 2 or 3, with sharp contrast and easily recognisable shape.
Scalable Vector Graphics: an open W3C standard since 1999, SVG is an XML-based 2D vector image format, with advanced capability for interactivity and animation. SVGs are defined in XML text files, and all browsers support them. SVG allows vector graphics, raster graphics and text.

Issac Newton is possibly the most influential scientist of all time. In the second half of the 17th century, he produced a breathtaking number of physics and mathematical laws and methods, explaining forces and physical phenomena, and deriving mathematical explanations still in use today.
